CALLING ALL PARENTS OF KIDS AGES 13-18!
The New Jersey State Elks Association is proud to sponsor their Annual Youth Sports Tournament once again on Monday June 23rd, 2025.
The New Jersey State Elks Association has been sponsoring a Youth Sports Tournament for New Jersey Boys and Girls (ages 13 to 18) for over 30 years. The purpose of the tournament is to promote competition against the best athletes in the state in each individual sport and to promote camaraderie among all competitors. Scholarships are awarded to the best competitors in each sport and division. There is NO cost to the student/athlete or their school. All costs are covered by the local Elks Lodges through their Youth Activities Programs.
The tournament is a 1-day event held in Central New Jersey. An Awards Luncheon will follow immediately after the conclusion of tournament. All parents, grandparents, and siblings are cordially invited to attend the luncheon and presentation ceremony (athletes are free, but there is a cost for the others).
The venues for the individual sports are as follows:
-Bowling: Shore Lanes, 701 New Jersey Route 35, Neptune, NJ 07753
-Golf: Cruz Golf Country Club - 55 Birdsall Road, Farmingdale, NJ 07727
-Tennis: Neptune High School, 1 Gables Court, Neptune, NJ 07753
Participants should report directly to their individual location 1 hour prior to the start of competition for instructions and warm-up.

Elks Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Eligibility requirements and applications can be found by clicking the link below. The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2025 competition. Male and female students compete separately. Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university. The Top 20 scholars, selected from the 500 national semi-finalists, will receive an invitation to the 2025 MVS Leadership Weekend and scholarships of $30,000. Emergency Educational Grants provide up to $5,000 of financial assistance to undergraduate students who are the children of deceased or disabled Elks. Additionally, students can apply for up to four EEGs during their undergraduate careers. Eligibility requirements and applications can be found by clicking the link below.
