ELKS SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
2027 MOST VALUABLE STUDENT APPLICATIONS
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships. Male and female students compete separately.
Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
The 2027 application deadline is November 12, 2026 at 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time.
2026 EMERGENCY EDUCATIONAL GRANT APPLICATIONS
Emergency Educational Grants provide up to $5,000 of financial assistance to undergraduate students who are the children of deceased or disabled Elks. Additionally, students can apply for up to four EEGs during their undergraduate careers. Eligibility requirements and applications can be found by clicking the link below.

Elks Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Eligibility requirements and applications can be found by clicking the link below. 2026-2027 GRAND LODGE AMERICANISM ESSAY CONTEST
All applications must include the coverpage to identify the student and local Elks Lodge it is submitted to. Essay should be submitted to your nearest local Elks Lodge on/before December 15, 2026.
